An inexpensive little cooler

Strengths: INEXPENSIVE

Weaknesses: You get what you pay for, but with this item, you get a little more than you pay for

Summary: Take a look at the competition. The other guys sell a slightly better product for a ton more money... this purchase is a no brainer unless you need a built in model. Buy it and you won't be disappointed. I paid $150.00 for mine.

Great Product for any wine enthusiast

Strengths: LED display capacity for a variety of beverages ideal temperature indication light for different beverages

Weaknesses: temperature can vary slightly

Summary: Overall, I am very pleased with the Avanti 24 bottle wine cooler. I especially love the LED display indicating the exact temperature the refrigerator is at. The internal light and tempered glass doors, make this product aesthetically pleasing as well. The one negative, is that the temperature can vary +/- 4 degrees. It does not affect the temp. of the wine at all. I would highly reccomend this product. Especially if you can pick it up on sale like me :)

Nice product, very bad custormer support from the manufacturer

Strengths: LED redout, interior light and attractive exterior

Weaknesses: The product arrived damaged and Avanti products was difficult to deal with.

Summary: This is a very nice wine cooler, and looks and works fine for the price. However, the product arrived damaged in shipment as one of the support legs and attaching screw was broken. When I called Avanti Products they claimed that this model was discontinued several years ago and as a result could not get me a matching support leg and sent one of a different color. Twelve days later, the leg arrived without the required screw. The Avanti representative originally told me that the support leg came with the screw, so I had to call again to get them to send me the screws. I am not sorry that I bought this cooler, as it works very well and it was priced right, but dealing with Avanti Products was very difficult.

Quiet, attractive and a great value!

Strengths: Runs nearly silently, attractive appearance, intuitive controls with a clear display, manually switched lighting, compact freestanding unit that maximizes storage while occupying little space

Weaknesses: Shelves are tightly spaced and do not allow for placement of some rounder shouldered bottles (such as sparkling wines). With some effort, actual capacity can be approx 23 not 24 bottles.

Summary: This is a very attractive unit that does not intrude into the room yet holds a surprising volume of wine. It's compact design however limits the actual arrangement of bottles. Although the shelves are designed to hold 5 across I find that only 4 Chardonnay bottles can fit (however you can place a 5th narrower style bottle to maximize capacity). The lower basket becomes the salvation for even broader bottles that are too large to slide into the shelf area. The manually operated light is a nice feature in that it avoids an instant on at each opening but is rather available on commend. However since the light fixture is not recessed it intrudes into the cabinet and eliminates one bottle storage area. There is also a door lock built into the unit. All in all I think this is a great value for the money.
