Strengths: Design.
Weaknesses: Size.
Summary: I purchased this for surround speakers since my wife was tired of my old crappy KLHs that were held together by rubber bands. We currenlty live in a condo and these speakers seem quite large on the wall, I guess I should've checked the size before I purchased them. They do sound good though, and they have a pretty nice design. The white color makes them stand out less than most boring black speakers too.
On the downside, they can pretty much be only mounted using the $40 mounting brackets which can be purchased from, you guessed it, JBL. It would've been nicer if they had a more universal screw hole design so you could use a cheaper generic kit, but they don't. I suppose if I spent a little more time, I could've made a generic kit work, but I didn't feel like it.
If you can find as good a price as I did, I would definitely recommend purchasing these speakers, but make sure you wait for that sale.
