Strengths: very fast computer

Weaknesses: the computer it'self is'nt the problem it's Dell, they (DELL) has the worst support , they are unintelligent, unprofesional, rudest staff that i have ever delt with!!!

Summary: The computer is fine , if you can get Dell to send one that works or has the correct parts in it , I've been thru 4 computers in the last 8 months, all either had software issue's or wrong hardware, i now have another 8250 that has the wrong hardware in it , it came with a sound blaster live, it was suppose to have an Audigy 2, DEll has told me that they will not send the right card.

It also took 7 months to get my rebate, only after i talked to corporate and had to threten a law suit.

there is much more to this story of (HELL WITH DELL) please do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from DELL!!! I wish someone would have told me what i'm telling you, it would have saved me allot of time and money.

I've had my Dell Dimension 8250 for 4 weeks now. ...

Strengths: 3.06GHz Hyperthreading CPU, 512MB RDRAM 1066 memory, ATI Radeon 9700 pro graphics card, and perfectly matching components put together by Dell.

Weaknesses: pricey.

Summary: I've had my Dell Dimension 8250 for 4 weeks now. It's performing magnificently so far. I've worked with a lot of high-end pc's in the past but I've never seen a pc work flawlessly as this one, especially in a very power demanding environment such as Windows XP. I edited a lot of home video's, installed and played highly graphic games but this pc performed excellently. The only problem I had was when I installed my Broadband connection, It freezes when you have too many windows open, but I eventually solved the problem after a few tweaking. Now my connection is a whopping 10,000 KBPS. You can open all the windows you want. It's perfect!

Strengths: AN AWSOME COMPUTER!

Weaknesses: ZERO!

Summary: I have 5 Dell Computers, None of them have given me any trouble besides normal wear and tear. And the one time that happened the tech support took care of it quickly and professionaly.

Strengths: INTEGRITY OF SYSTEM, SMOOTH PERFORMANCE, EXCELLENT OPERATION- NOT ONE PROBLEM- WOW WHAT A SUPERB MACHINE! FOR THIS PRICE IT IS AN OUTSTANDING VALUE!!

Weaknesses: THERE ARE NOT ALOT OF SOFTWARE PROGRAMS PRELOADED,BUT FOR $1600 I SURELY WON'T COMPLAIN!

Summary: WINDOWS XP ON MACHINE HAS SEAMLESS PERFORMANCE.

AT 256DDRAM I CAN RUN EVERYTHING I WANT TO AND STILL HAVE MUCH DDRAM AVAIABLE.

THE PENTIUM 4 @ 2.66GHZ IS S U P E R FAST- PROGRAMS LOADED ON COMPUTER AND ON INTERNET WITH CABLE MODEM CONNECTION TO ISP ARE BOTH AMAZING FAST- TO APPEAR ON SCREEN- LITERALLY PRESS ENTER AND AT 1/2 THE TIME IT TAKES TO NORMALLY BLINK THE PROGRAM IS SITTING ON THE SCREEN- PRETTY AS YOU PLEASE.

THE SOUND CARD AND THE VIDEO CARD ARE EXCELLENT PERFORMERS.
