Strengths: Interfaces directly with 3.5mm jacks on audio players and vehicles
Weaknesses: None
Summary: There isn't much to say other than this little device does exactly what it's supposed to do. After purchasing a new iPod adapter/car charger, I noticed some high-pitch ground loop interference when the car's engine was running. The only ground loop isolators I could find at local retailers had large RCA plugs designed for home audio equipment, so I was thrilled to find the PAC SNI-1/3.5, which has the 3.5mm connectors common to iPods and the auxiliary jacks found on most late model cars.

This device completely eliminated all of the interference I was hearing, and it was far less expensive than purchasing a stereo-RCA version and the 3.5mm adapters to go with it. I highly recommend this device.

Strengths: It works great!
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: I have a sirius radio that plugs into an "aux" plug in my toyota Tundra. This was a new radio for me (the previous sirius radio did not have this problem) and I had a loud hum and a slight whine that coincided with the engine rpm. I love sirius but the background noise was very distracting. I plugged this PAC SNI-1/3.5 RCA Ground Loop Noise Isolator in and the noise went completely away. My sirius radio sounds great again.

Strengths: Works!!

Summary: Own a Sirius Sportster 4 that I plug into the AUX jack of my Toyota. When the engine is running horrible interference - a high pitch whine - could be heard.

Plugged this product between radio and jack and the whine is gone.

Must have this if you are experiencing the same problem with your satellite radio, mp3 player etc.
