 Do not- I say do not put your money into this mach ... Strengths: None- junk- and if you buy one you will see
Weaknesses: When working inconsistant roast- the chaff collector must have been designed by a crack head because it's terrible- once you remove it- there is chaff underneath waiting to invade your beans !
Summary: Do not- I say do not put your money into this machine- I have been roasting for over 3 years and finally made the jump into a so called quality roaster- this thing is total junk- 130$ down the drain- expect nothing but grief from the manufacturer- Right out of the box on the very first roast it burned out- went through the process of returning- and factory maintenace- 3-4 weeks. Got it back- once again very first roast the machine burned the fuse out again. Please do not think this is a one time occurrence notice at the bottom of the main review they posted that to keep cost down you must mail directly to manufacturer(RED FLAG)
what burned me up was that they knew these things were defective and shipped them anyway- even those that sold them knew they were defective- still sold them and once you buy it- your stuck no money back guarantee- only service which will be an on going nightmare. The whole time your going without coffee- I had to resort back to my 15$ popcorn popper- which i have to say does one heck of a better job than the cafe coaster if they say it's improved it's only that they finally decided to put a better thermostat in the machine - but that will still only delay the inevitable- breakdown- these are made one by one by hand in some shop in Korea I was told by warranty personell- so coffee buffs I only tell of what has and will happen once you drop major coins on this piece of junk- BEWARE.
