Strengths: classic great game, comes with Warcraft 2 & strategy guide
Weaknesses: no frozen throne expansion
Summary: I bought this game set in March 2005 when it was on sale at Amazon for $15. That was cheaper than just buying the Warcraft 3 standalone game... and this set includes a full size strategy guide and Warcraft 2 Battle Net edition.
Warcraft 3 is a great game. Blizzard was one of the pioneers of the real time strategy game (along with Westwood). Warcraft 3 is continues the struggle between orcs and man. But it also adds an undead race and night elves. Also, it introduces hero characters that are stronger and have special powers. The game is visually pleasing with lots of unique units and building that are bright and colorful. But this game is nearly 6 years old now (release in 2002) so it's not going to stand out for its graphics today... but the gameplay is just as great as ever.
This set does not include the expansion set for Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne, but you do get Warcraft 2 which started it all for Blizzard in my opinion.
If you have never played WC3 and enjoy real time strategy games, and can find it cheap, then you owe it to yourself to pick the game up!
