The Curvilinear Injection-Molded Polypropylene (CIMP) woofers of the 2-way DS60 6-1/2" speakers combine power and control as they piston out the bass. The woofers are mounted in Enhanced BAM (Basket and Motor) assemblies — the low-profile high-strength steel baskets provide a firm foundation for the speaker motor. Accurate imaging and smooth high-frequency response are a given, thanks to Kicker's PEN semi-dome tweeters. What's PEN? Try "biaxially-oriented polypropylene naphthalate film."
