Strengths: Looked for a TV for my son's room that wouldn't break the bank but still have some bang for the bucks. This tv delivered. Great picture with only the cable hooked up, no box.
Weaknesses: Tv takes a few minutes to turn on.
Summary: This tv is great for the price. Yes you can get something way better but you'll pay for it. This tv is perfect for a bedroom. The sound and picture are fantastic. I couldn't get over the diffference from analog to hd. Wow.

My son is over the moon about the tv and I didn't break the bank. Win Win.....

Strengths: Easy to set up Easy to use Good variety of inputs
Weaknesses: Only two HDMI inputs
Summary: 2008-08-05 19:38:56 This HDTV has excellent reception of HDTV channels through an antenna. The picture quality is quite good, especially if one adjusts the picture setting to correspond with the video source. The audio quality through the TV speakers, while not spectacular, is good. I have not encountered any difficulties whatsoever with this Toshiba TV.

2 Star ReviewPoor Quality
Strengths: many a/v inputs.sound quality. lots of ajustable controls
Weaknesses: resolution even at full 720p with a hdmi cable is poor. 480i looks so bad its unwatchable, even if your across the room.poor viewing angles. color is anything but sub-par.
Summary: i had originally wanted the toshiba 26HL67 but i waited too long and the model was discontinued. the sony bravia was way too expensive, so i decided to take a chance and buy this model.looking back i should have busted my budget and bought the sony bravia. hooked up via hdmi to my hd cable box 720p looks blury even the 1080i channels are'nt sharp closeup. colors a weak. the sound is good. didnt look so bad using it as a monitor for my notebook computer.

Strengths: Nice picture, PC compatable, Composite connections on side for Camera and Camcorder, works well with SD signals and HD.
Weaknesses: Shiney Black Plastic Frame
Summary: I decided to spend a few more bucks and not purchase a Vizio or Walmart brand. I think I made a very smart decision. This is a high quality piece of electronics at a very competitive price. The only problem I have encountered is reflections off the large shiney plastic area below the screen. This is a second HDTV wall mounted in the Kitchen. The other is a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma. We use this Toshiba about twice as much because of its location. It's also nice to hook up my wireless notebook computer to the TV. Watched a NETFLIX "instant" movie over the internet that way the other night.
