Strengths: 1. Image Quality
2. It's Pink!!! (girls love it)
3. light in weight
Weaknesses: 1. No Wide Angle, but it's not a big deal
2. Viewfinder is less useful than 3'0 LCD
Summary: My girlfriend has been looking for a pink camera that can do everything, SD1100 is a great one that fits her needs.
Most of the cameras that comes in pink color are usually the low-end camera that has so-so image quality and average performance. Well, that's about to be over. I consider the SD1100 as a very solid performer in photo takings. It's small, light, and it's powerful. It starts up quickly and records images fast (as long as you have the right memory card). Although it doesn't have the fancy 3'0 LCD to show off to people, my girlfriend just loves it so much!!
It would be nice to have a little bit wider lenses instead (easier for self-portraits) , but considering its inexpensive price (around 210), I doubt anything can beat it in its price class.

Strengths: Great pictures, size, weight, can edit pictures, stabilization system
Weaknesses: None, except it can be easily "lost"! due to size
Summary: Bought this for my wife. She justs loves it! She can take it with her on trips (flight attendant with Delta) as she travels to China and all of Europe! Her favorite color is pink so she REALLY loves her new pink camera!

Strengths: compact, face detection, motion detection technology
Weaknesses: pricy, only 8.0mp, cannot use zoon during movie(only use digital zoom)
Summary: This is a nice camera.
This is almost new camera.
I couldn't find the reviews.
It has lots of funtions: face detection, motion detection technology which calculate figure's moving and select right ISO. These funtions make more clear pictures.
Another good thing is that this camera supports SDHC which allows more choice for high speed memory.
It has a high quality of movie.
Con:
-a bit pricy
-8.0mp compared to other models(sd850, sd870, sd950)
-only use digital zoom during movie.
I will recommend this camera to my friend

Strengths: Size of camera, size of screen, ease of handling, cute color!
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: I owned a much older version of the sd1100 and loved my camera, so I got this cute pink updated version for my mom. It is so pretty and the screen size is much larger now. Very easy to manipulate. I don't do anything fancy with the camera, so I'm not quite sure about picture quality and all the fancy functions this camera has. But for taking day to day pictures when we go out sight seeing, it works just fine, and is so compact it fits in my pockets so you won't feel weighed down by the camera. I especially like the sound options, now when my mom takes a picture it makes a doggy "woof" sound :p Canon gives you a memory card for free too (though it can't really hold too many pictures). But I really wish Canon would've given a free cover for the camera.........it's tough keeping that screen scratch free without a cover.

Strengths: Solidly built. Bright LCD. Optical image stabilization. Great color saturation in Photo mode. Very good sound quality in Movie mode. Very good quality movies in low light. Manly Pink color. :-)
Weaknesses: Poor MJPEG compression results in large movie files. No manual override controls. Noisy images when over ISO 400. 10sec to cycle after full flash photos. Proprietary Battery.
Summary: It's a awesome compact camera. While it's not a movie cam, it does a good job taking VGA movies in dim setting like night clubs. And it does a great job recording clear and loud audio in night clubs capturing the music perfectly albeit in mono. My other Panasonic cameras sound very soft and distorted in comparison. Photos have good color saturation and are punchy. However, above ISO 400, noise becomes an issue. Overall, it's a great camera with excellent image quality! My only wish is that it had better compression for movies (perhaps DivX like Casio's) and that it had a wider lens (28mm like the SD870IS).

Strengths: Size, picture quality, features
Weaknesses: Software is mediocre. Doesn't come with a case. Battery life is just OK.
Summary: I bought this camera for my wife for mothers day and she absolutely loves the camera. Its small enough for her to carry in her purse every day (after I bought the matching pink case) so she always has it with her. Picture quality is really good and was able to pick up a 2GB SD card for a nice price as well. The biggest negative is the software is really mediocre. If you have your own photo software, then its no big deal, but otherwise I just take out the SD Card and pop it into my PC.

Strengths: size and stabilization
Weaknesses: zoom could be better
Summary: This is a great camera for the price. The color choices make it a fun present for the tween or older teen. We like that it also has the view finder and can take video.
