Strengths: Compartment divisible with adjustable velcro divider; small pouch in front of case and mesh pocket inside for extra storage; compact
Weaknesses: Mesh pocket is not very deep (can only put small flat objects in it); shoulder strap is flimsy for "sony quality"
Summary: I like this case. It's big enough to hold an extra battery in the pouch in the front and video cables in the compartment with the camcorder. This is not the "SUV" of camcorder cases where you can bring every accessory under the sun, but it is also not a slim one where it can just hold a camcorder around your neck.
The case closes with just the clasp but the edges of the lid overlap the camcorder compartment (see picture) so dirt/dust doesn't slip in easily.
My only gripe is the shoulder strap is a bit thin and uncomfortable compared to the quality of the rest of the case. But a sony case for the same price that Best Buy would charge for a third-party camcorder case? I'll live with it.
