Strengths: 2.4 GHZ DUAL BOOT WINDOWS AND MAC
Weaknesses: the arrows on the keyboar
Summary: 2008-04-11 22:40:46 The boot process to Leopard is very quick. About 18 seconds for me! The Intel Core 2 Duo processor is really fastThe Intel GMA X3100 means little gaming, but 13 inch laptops aren't designed for gaming anyway so not much of a problem, the arrows on the keyboard(SLOW!!!) or use the 2 finger scroll. These annoyances aside, it is a fantastic portable, powerful laptop that looks stunning and will take anything you throw at it, even windows. If you were ever considering making the switch to Apple, now is the time to do it.

Strengths: It's simplicity and reliability
Weaknesses: It's too white - gray would have been good!
Summary: There's still a lot of things with Mac OS I have to get used to. I installed a full version of Vista Ultimate with bootcamp and now I have the best of both worlds. Windows Vista runs great on this computer and I didn't even have to search for drivers. **note: If you plan on having both OS, I would suggest the black 250GB Macbook** You can also use VMware Fusion so that you can use Windows without rebooting.

It comes with a lot of pre-installed software like garage band... fun for musician or dj's.

Ever wondered how it would be to switch to a Mac? Do it! It's all worth it!"

Strengths: Keyboard, Speed, Clarity of screen, Mouse Pad, Overall ease of use
Weaknesses: Have not discovered any yet
Summary: I am a new convert from a PC; a brand new mother of twins, who works full time, I do not get much time to play on the computer. The transition has been fairly simple. I also went from a desktop to a notebook - that is why I mentioned the keyboard as being a strength...the keys are raised and it's easy to type with. I am very pleased with this notebook.

Strengths: Fast 2.4 GHZ 2 duo processor within the 13.3" potability. Larger hard drive to store more. Ready to work right away with pre-loaded softwares.
Weaknesses: No Flash cards slot or reader. Only USB and FireWire.
Summary: I am a long time user of Mac. This is my 4th Mac and I am very happy with this new Upgrade Macbook that is faster than My desktop Mac Pro G5. Also, 160GB hard drive is large enough for tasks on the road for me. Built-in wireless and iSight camera are also plus. This Mac come with everything I need and I did not have to modify that I usually do for my desktops. It would be convenient and never missing if a cover cap for the MagSafe Power Adapter is not apart from the adapter. Because the Magnet power is very strong and better to cover for protection when it is not in use.

About Windows XP parallel Boot Camp, I tried it but it does not works well along with a big power drained. So I gave up doing it with this Mac.

If there are any media flash reader, it would be more convenient.

But, Overall I like very much this Mac.

1 Star ReviewI wonder why no one bother to review this MacBook so I'm giving my short review. I hope this will help.
Strengths: For it's price 2.4gHz is worth the money. Can be dual boot to Windows.
Weaknesses: Display has low quality resolution - cheap design. Angle of view. Display color, sharpness and contrast, not a very good option for photo and video edit.Out of the box problem - intermittent freezes.
Summary: Side by side comparison with my MacBook Pro, Macbook display is way cheaper in design and quality. It's lacking sharpness and color. Adjusting to correct color(skin tone) and contrast are impossible to achieve whether using Mac or Windows OS(worst). Angle of view is washout especially when looking from top. You have to always view it at the middle to get the best. White plastic body leaves too much finger print.

Strengths: FAST, awesome display, 2.4 ghz, it has leopard (300 new features), simple to use, personalization
Weaknesses: what? it has none
Summary: this laptop is the bomb

its mac so how can it not

IT ACTUALLY WORKS

its really fast

i use it mostly for music, internet, pictures, movies, homework pretty much what everybody uses a computer for

and it works great

iLife is awesome and so is leopard (find out at apple.com)

like when you turn on your pc it has load and load and load then when the desktop finally pops up then if you click on something it takes like 1/2 an hour to open up

on this laptop it loads and and when the desktop shows you click something and it actually opens like its supposed to

i have been using pcs all my life and i just got fed up with them

theyre extremely complicated to work

my dell wouldnt pick up our wireless internet for like 6 months

ok i had an 2 HPs and both of their batteries dont work they have to be connected at all times and one of their hard drives erased like twice both within a year

and the others charger broke

and the laptop that erased now doesnt work at all

ok macs are realiable and worth the cost

why are you gonna spend money on something that your gonna find out it stinks

when you can buy something that you know is gonna work

seriously these things are crazy awesome for fun (which doesnt exist on a pc) and for work too

seriously just look on apple.com

thats how i got into them and found out about all their wonder
