Strengths: Deep gameplay, intricate story, great history
Weaknesses: Perhaps too complicated, bleak graphics
Summary: Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII is widely regarded as one of the best games in this long-running series. You get to play as one of 535 characters (yes you read that correctly!) scattered throughout the three kingdoms of ancient China. Depending upon how high ranking you are, you'll have more and more responsibilities and tasks to perform. Be warned! Choosing the highest ranks makes the game extremely complicated, and it'll take you hours and hours just to figure out what's going on, much less to figure out how to actually make your kingdom thrive; in some ways, it blends the most complicated parts of games like Sim City, The Sims, and Age of Empires. The graphics are only functional, and are probably the weakest part of the game. Recommended for strategy fans!
