Easy install on a 2K system. Weaknesses: None. Summary: Installation was very easy. I was able to plug it in, follow directions, and install the drivers without any problems. This card was the best solution for me. I have a computer with only 3 PCI slots and 2 slots were taken up by a 56K modem and a sound card. 86% of People (6/7) found this review helpful. Strengths: Many functions - one slot Weaknesses: Firewire to 400Mbs only (no 800Mbs) Summary: This card is a life saver for my slot limited machine. Not only does it provide me with USB 2.0 (allowing for faster transfers from different flash devices), but it gives me Firewire and 10/100 Ethernet! In addition to the external 2 USB 2.0, 1 Firewire, and 10/100, there is one USB 2.0 and one Firewire jack internal. Connectors are rotated to allow use in cases with low clearance. Drivers were included on a CD, but were unnecessary as the devices were automatically detected by Win XP. While my older system has been relegated to my kids use, it now has the ports that will allow it to be useful for many more years. Was this review helpful or unhelpful for you?
