Strengths: Steerable tweeter; good sound; easy install; hard to see!
Weaknesses: Polk picky about warranty
Summary: I am doing a whole-house remodel, so am putting audio in many of the rooms, including several surround sound setups (7.1 and two 5.1). I used these in several in-wall locations, and even one in-ceiling location. I love the steerable tweeter, as it works great in directing the sound to the sweet spot in the room! One of my installs was to build a custom speaker box into the wall-unit that sits in front of the bed. I had two false drawers that I cut out a hole, plopped in the speaker, and filled the rest of the drawer with foam insulation. Sounds great, and looks cool, if I say so myself. ;-)
One word of warning. Polk is evidently finicky about honoring their warranty unless you buy it from an authorized retailer. Those retailers always sell at full price. If you pay less than full retail, you are taking a chance of not getting the Polk 5-year warranty. I decided to take a chance, as I was buying so many speakers (a dozen various pairs). I tested them out beforehand, prior to installing.
