Summary: I've shopped around for the chairmats to protect the new hardwood floor in my house. Somehow this kind of flat-surface chairmat is pretty pricy compared with the regular carpet ones in most stores. Finally I found this Office Depot brand hard floor chairmat at $30 a piece (w coupon). It provides plenty of space for my chair to roll over without worrying about my wood floor. The only little drawback is that the chairmat is not completely transparent for you to show off your floor underneath. However, I think it's still a great producct for me to recommend to people who look for a hardwood floormat.
