Weaknesses: Failed in less than a week. USB connection not stable. Downloading software poor. Authoring software incomplete.
Summary: DO NOT BUY IT. After downloading a couple movies OK the unit failed. The processor would only report fragments and then lock up completely. It does not recognize the USB connection without unplugging it and plugging it in, and requires reloading the drivers whenever plugging it in. The movie star software works for download but not playback. The DVD "incomplete" software leaves out a lot so plan on buying the delux version for $99 since their upgrade system doesn't work. It might be OK by mid 2003 but it isn't ready yet.
