Strengths: Picture quality. Number/type of inputs/outputs.
Weaknesses: Quite simply stated, I haven't found one yet.
Summary: Ok, I'm no TV guru, so understand this is from a novice. I am completely and utterly happy with this product. I was in the market and actually looked at Panasonics 65"widescreen seriously as well. I went for this model because it seemed to offer even more than that mammoth model and I got it for only about $100 more. Toshiba's reputation speaks for itself. Evidently in terms of picture quality, Toshiba, Hitachi and Mitsubishi have a corner on the market...I recently learned this (may be subjective). This HDTV monitor has the latest DVI input. Now I dont have any peripherals that I can use with that yet, but its nice to have. The remote, in my opinion, is simply genius. First of all, its lighted so you can see the buttons in a darkened room, additionally, everything is on-screen so its pretty easy to use. This thing of beauty has inputs for 2 component video (high-definition) inputs then 2 others that can be RCA (composite) or S-video. I think total you can have 6 different inputs. On the front, you can hook up a PS2, cam corder, etc (buttons are hidden when not in use). The set has a ledge on the top (which some people may not like), but I have no entertainment center so I use it to set my components (VCR, DVD, Cable box, etc). I could go on and on. I got it for $2400 including tax and delivery at The Great indoors ( I actually went into the store....the sales manager will match ANY advertised price you can find on the internet (THANKS PRICEGRABBER). In a word , LOVE IT!!
