Strengths: Good little A/C.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Keeps my bed room cool, not too noisy. I think that may have more to do with the construction of the wall than the AC unit. Not for window use. I love the remote, because my unit isn't easy to get to. The timer and power-saving features are a must. On crazy hot days, I can keep the temp level without constant running and on normal days, I can have it turn on before I get home or turn off whenever.

Strengths: Good little A/C.
Weaknesses: The directional louvers don't move significantly.
Summary: This is a nice little machine, very quiet. Cooled off our 800 sq ft (+/-) room nicely when it was in the upper 90 Fs outside all day. We have no complaints with it so far. The energy-efficiency setting is a plus, as we are gone a lot and have animals in the house that we want to keep cooled but don't want to leave it on "cool" all day, every day. The only complaints - and this is not much - the directional louvers don't move significantly. We had to place this unit in an over-the-head-height wall sleeve that was already installed in our wall (bought this unit as a replacement for a 30 year old GE model). We can louver the airflow left, right, and up towards the ceiling more, but not really down towards the ground (which would be nice, but is not essential). And: the universal sleeve adapter, the frame that goes over the old sleeve and is supposed to fit all standard units? It's just a hair too short to fit ours, so we've had to resort to white duct tape to hold it to the top of our through-the-wall sleeve. There is no way to adjust this adapter, unfortunately, but it's certainly not a reason to not buy this unit.
