Strengths: Very lightweight
Weaknesses: Very flimsy, amazingly overpriced
Summary: Before I bought these I went looking for a review. One said "acetate" but that could mean a rigid plastic or floppy. So I ordered them (from Sam's club at about $1.30 each, in a bulk pack), taking the risk. If they did turn out to be floppy, at least I wasn't paying $6 apiece.
These are basically a cross between a floppy plastic sheet protector - the kind you snap into a three-ring binder - and those printable magnets the pizza restaurant sends you in the mail. The plastic is thicker than a sheet protector but not by much. The back is a single large, thin magnet. They hold quite nicely to my refrigerator and filing cabinet, but they still just look like a sheet protector, not at all like a frame.
I think $1 to $1.50 is a reasonable price for this kind of item. I am still looking for an inexpensive, rigid-plastic frame suitable for cubicles.
