Strengths: Most bang for the buck of any premium AV receiver. Has more S-inputs (5) and digtial audio inputs (1 coax/4 optical) of any receiver in its price range. Can support multi-source and multi-room configurations. Has back surround capability.
Weaknesses: No on-screen display. Surround modes (not DSP) a little hard to trigger and see on receiver display.
Summary: Has the most features and best quality of any receiver in its price range. Suggest placing atop your AV cabinet for easy reading of display.
