Strengths: The list is long: twin 10" speakers and compression driver horn, versatile EQ controls, relatively easy portability, solid construction,...
Weaknesses: I honestly haven't found any yet!
Summary: This Fender Bassman 250/210 Combo amp provides beautiful sound quality that you can mold to your preferred style of music and playing technique with the EQ controls running through the compression driver horn (which has its own level control) and the twin 10" speakers; you also have the option of unplugging the twin-10"s and running the powerful 250W amp through an external speaker cabinet. I've used this amp in a variety of venues (both indoors and outdoors), playing different bass guitars and a variety of music styles...and it's always delivered great sound. Plus, the built-in wheels and handles on each side of the cabinet make transport fairly easy (the amp itself weighs a little over 60 pounds). Finally, the price seems about average for this type of bass amp...but it's proven its worth many times over!
I've played comparable Ampeg and Peavey amps, and the Fender 250/210 beats them hands-down. I HIGHLY recommend this Fender Bassman amp!!
