Weaknesses: Extremely poor reception and limited distance usage.
Summary: I bought this phone based on a Consumer Reports recomendation. Even they can be wrong occasionally. The phone's reciption suffers due to it's poor range. Even at ranges of less than 75 feet with the base at a high elevation, you get static on the line every time you move. It's almost impossible to get static free reciption unless you are right next to the base. The features are the only reason for not giving it a completely unsatisfactory rating.
If you check other reviews, they all compain about this problem. Well, it's true.
