Strengths: Easy setup with the color coded cables that match the color codes at least on my Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. Excellent sound across spectrum for playing music and watching DVD movies.
Weaknesses: Only weakness is too short a length for the rear speakers to be put very far behing you (only 3.5 feet).
Summary: This is the second set of 5.1 speakers I have had in my computing experience (the first were digital Altec Lansings from an older system I put together). These speakers give excellent sound quality for their small size, which makes it easy to place them in cramped conditions. If you need 5.1 surround sound in a compact size with excellent sound at an entry level price ($62), these are the ones to consider on your short list.

Strengths: Inexpensive, quality sound and easy to setup.
Weaknesses: Rear speaker cable not long enough.
Summary: This is my first 5.1 speaker system and I am impressed. These speakers are a perfect addition for getting good sound at a very reasonable price. They match my system that uses a sound blaster live 5.1 sound card. I had no trouble setting them up. The speakers are controlled by whatever software that exists on your computer. No software comes in the box. They look good and sound great. I would recommend them to anyone who has not had 5.1 speakers. The only short coming is that the rear speaker cables could be longer.

Strengths: An excellent price and easy to setup 5.1 speaker.
Weaknesses: Each speaker should've been labeled where it goes. Like front
left or right(?)
Summary: 2005-02-05 02:39:25 Setting up this speaker wasn't complicated at all, unlike *certain *certain brand speaker. With pictured manual and all, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, unless you have flunked high school. Overall, very good product and purchase.

 COOL LOOKS!! COOL SOUND!! Strengths: Good looks;Superb price to performance ratio
Weaknesses: Not the most thunderous
Summary: Well these are my first set of PC speakers and boy am i happy about it!! The bass is tummy resounding. Although a bit low on clarity but it would surely be the best coming to the similar priced 5.1 segment. I am currently using it with a sound blaster live and have no plans of upgrading in any current time.

Strengths: 1) Excellent sonic accuracy and support for Dolby 5.1 and EAX Advanced HD audio technology.
2) Exhillerating gaming and music output
3) Crystal clear vocal reproduction
4) Affordable price range
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: These speakers have put me in a whirlpool of greatly enhanced sound. The BASS, Surround and Treble reproduction outputs are PERFECT !!
I was thinking about Altec Lansing, but they do not have any great models in this 5.1 range. Many distributors also advised me to go for Creative.
I play some high definition games like the HITMAN series, which needs impressively great speakers to handle that crystal clear and incredible sound, since this game has master audio recordings from The Budapest Symphony Orchestra. And guess what!, this 5200 model has kept its name high.
I would absolutely and highly recomend this set,
If You See It Just Grab It !
It's affordable and Thrilling to hear.
Advice:
1) Keep the Volume settings between 4 to 5.5 (on remote) and Bass at first 2 or 3 dots.
2) Make sure you have a Creative or SoundMAX 4XL 5.1 channel sound card, to truly enjoy of what i am expriencing.

Strengths: Very loud for only 75watts
Weaknesses: none...unless you want to crank them all they up and cut the life in half....
Summary: when i got my new computer with Extigy and these 5.1's I was blown away at just how loud they are at half power... these are the only 5.1's that i know that have a nice and very loud center... if you can spend 50-80$ get these speakers because well they are cheaper. If you get Extigy then you should turn on bass redirection and pull the slider from 20-40 for the best sound:)

Strengths: These speakers are very good quality and have a lot of power for their price.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: 2004-03-11 18:43:19 These are awesome speakers; great treble and bass, awesome overall sound quality. These speakers are at a great price and I would highly recommend them.
Just in case you don't have a 5.1, you can use a 3 way splitter to connect up your normal soundcard output to the center, rear, and front input and you can get normal stereo sound out all the speakers.

Strengths: Great surround sound! Excellent quality altogether!
Weaknesses: Cables to short to put speakers behind you at any real distance.
Summary: 2004-01-11 15:17:05 For the price you can't get speakers much better than these are. They were very easy to set up and the sound is incredible. All in all a GREAT system. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great surround sound system to go with this one. Especially if you find a great price here on PriceGrabber.

Strengths: I replaced my HK695 speakers with these. Surround sound has given me much better sound. Creative Labs delivers good sound with this system for the price!
Weaknesses: Setup time. Loss in surround if I utilize the sound keys from keyboard rather than their wired controller. Easily fixed if you set keyboard and leave it and use their controller.
Summary: 2004-01-13 13:52:51 This is my first surround sound system. I am satisfied with quality of sound for a 5.1 system. Creative Labs delivers for the price! Watch volume level thou. If you must crank your computer sound, sound quality will show a slight degradation. However, I still recommend purchase for anyone's first surround system.

Strengths: very powerful
Weaknesses: bad software
Summary: these are very good speaker but the software is terrible. i was playing with the settings and somehow i set an echo. i kept trying and i could not turn it off. i recommend getting different software. very good powerful speakers

Strengths: it has small speakers it provides clear sound and the bass is so great I had to take breakables off the self to keep the from falling off and breaking. I highly recomend the system
Weaknesses: you must have atleast a 4.1 sound card but but is recommend to have a 5.1. overall this is a great system no real cons
