Strengths: Compact design, Subwoofer has decent bass for its size, very inexpensive
Weaknesses: Entry level speakers, average quality and construction, you get what you pay for. No headphone jack.
Summary: After doing much research on computer speakers and comparing prices, I bought the Creative Inspire 2.1 system and these Cyber Acoustics 3001. Although the Creative speakers were more expensive, I believe the sound quality and construction to be superior, however that doesn't mean the Cyber Acoustics are a bad product. First of all, they look pretty cool, and have a nice compact design so they are easy to transport. The price can't be beat, for a speaker system with a subwoofer this is one of the cheapest you can get. Installation was a no-brainer, and I got right away to testing out the bass. The sound quality exceeded my expectations, I thought it would be tinny or muddled, but it actually was decent. Overall, these speakers are great for a casual gamer or music lover, however in my opinion its worth it to spend a little more money and get speakers from Creative or Altec Lansing.

Strengths: Professional, Space saving, Nice Design.
Weaknesses: NONE, I paid $20.00 for these.
Summary: I can't believe the sound quality that comes from these speakers... For the money you pay for them it's UN-BEATABLE! The speakers have a nice LED blue light on them when the power is on. It's nice. The subwoofer is small enough to put under your desk, if your in an office and gives off nice sound from down there as well.

Don't listen to these IDIOTS who come on here and say they are bad, not shieled, no headphone jack. YOU PAID 20 BUCKS FOR SPEAKERS, AND YOUR COMPLAINING... GET A LIFE! OR A GIRLFRIEND.

but seriously.... You can't go wrong with these speakers for the money... I guarantee it!

Strengths: Well packaged and takes less desk space. No distortion or hum noise. Nice blue power on indicator
Weaknesses: Not loud enough
Summary: It's not loud enough but for an office and occasional games, it's sufficient. Plan to put the woofer on a sound reflective surface to get the best sound combo. The cloth grill is a nice touch; it looks professional. For a small budget, it beats getting just the 2 speaker system. I'll buy again.

3 Star ReviewNot bad for price
Strengths: Adequate low price speakers with subwoofer.
Weaknesses: Not very powerful
Summary: I bought this CA speaker system for my home computer and thought it would be sufficient in terms of the quality of the sound and I thought it would be powerful enough since it has a subwoofer. The sound quality is not bad, however this unit is not very powerful even though it has a sub(I was under the impression that the subwoofer can handle higher volumes, this speaker sytem doesn't go very loud). If you occasionally like to turn your volume up a little, get something a little more powerful.

For it's price I can't complain. Overall, this is a satisfactory product.

Strengths: Price, small size
Weaknesses: Sound is not great
Summary: I picked up a pair of these for $5, and I simply could not find any 2.1 speakers from another manufacturer at that price point. The speakers are adequate but obviously don't have the best sound, nor are they supposed to. They do look attractive with the decent finish and blue 'on' light.

Strengths: Compact and good value for money
Weaknesses: Depends on expectations. No real weakness b/c get what you pay for.
Summary: I've had these speakers for a couple weeks and they were definitely worth buying. These replaced a generic five year old 2.0 set at my office computer so I can't afford a lot of space or risk having a coworker permanently borrow them. Work fine for some light music (mainly pop and jazz) to improve the mood, but definitely not something to ROCK THE CUBICLE with. As long as you keep in mind the limitations of these speakers (ie, no THX, 7.1 sound, etc), you'd be fairly pleased. Definitely recommend!

Strengths: Compact Speakers, Good Value
Weaknesses: Sound is not very strong
Summary: I purchased this to replace my original two piece speakers. With the subwoofer, the sound now has some bass. I think that this is a great value for anyone looking for a basic speaker system for their computer.

Strengths: Compact size, very inexpensive, blue power-on light.
Weaknesses: entry level speakers.
Summary: The sound quality exceeded my expectations. I found the quality is more than what I paid. It is so tinny that you can place it almost anywhere on your desk. It is a good desktop space saver.

Strengths: compact, looks good
Weaknesses: what radio station is that?
Summary: I just got these from an on-line store. I don't knwo what the problem is, but they are picking up an FM station all by themselves. there is hum, and if I turn the volume up, I can hear the DJ. When they are plugged into my machine, I still get the hum and in between tracks I can hear the radio in the background.

I didn't expect much for 15$, but I expected something I could use. This is the first day I've had them and I don't know how much effort it will be worth to get the problem sorted out. I would rather have shelled out 10 more dollars and not have to deal with any hassel.

If anyone knows how to get this sorted out without trying to exchange them at a store I didn't buy them from, I'd love some pointers.
