Strengths: This machine has excellent pick-up, works great on animal hair on carpet and furniture.
Weaknesses: My belt burned up after 1 week, but they are inexpensive to replace. You lose some suction when switching to the on-board tools. Better on floors in "carpet" pasition.
Summary: Overall I am pleased with this vacuum. I have been a die hard Kirby fan for years till they went and changed it all. You can go from carpet to floors with no problem, but I find it does a better job on floors using the "carpet" selector. Emptying the dirt cup is a snap, but a little dusty. The on-board tools are very handy, but has a short reach unless you use the extension hose. The cord winder is too short and looks bulky on the vacuum. The belts burn up fast if something causes the agitator bars to stop, they are inexpensive to replace, but you have to order them and wait about 7 days to receive them. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone.
