Strengths: Power at it's best. Bass with a PPUUNNCCHH (punch). Sit next to the Sub-woofer and you will NEVER EVER THINK again about Bose or Cerwin or Polk.
Weaknesses: Sony is not ACTIVELY MARKETING IT as a Bose Killer. That is exactly what it is, at a price that is a LOT LOWER from a TOP NOTCH PROVIDER - Sony.
Summary: Great - Great - Great. Bought it and enjoy it more than any other piece of purchase I've made in the last 10 years!!!!!!!!.

Strengths: SUPER clean, crisp movies and music; powerful sub; speakers and sub are small enough to put just about anywhere
Weaknesses: I wish that the supplied cables were a bit longer; if you want to purchase stands or mounting brackets, you pretty much have to buy Sony equipment
Summary: I went round and round for months looking at various speaker systems; I wanted great sound but didn't want to have to mortgage the house to pay for the speakers. Some of the other box systems had great reviews (like the JBL SCS-150), but I was disappointed with them when I went to a store to listen to them. The small speakers sounded "SMALL", and the subwoofers sounded like muffled booms. In short, they didn't blend well. I came across these badboys; in my opinion they could beat the tar out of any box system I've heard (Polk, Bose, JBL, Onkyo...). The sound is huge, they blend well, the quality is wonderful, and the system is as "boomy" as you want it :)For the price, they can't be beat. What are you waiting for, BUY THEM!

Strengths: Clear, crisp highs and powerful low's. Small enough to fit any where. Optional Sony speaker stands are a must for a complete audio as well as visual experience.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: The best satellite speaker system I have ever heard. A friend of mine came over and was bagging on the tinny speakers I have inconspicuously hidden around the room. He said there was no way they could produce any quality of sound what so ever. Until I have blasted a couple of DVD's at him. He changed his mind the moment the bass shook the couch with the sound of explosions amids the faintest high pitch sounds of bullets wizzing by.

By far this is the best satellite speaker system ever!
