Strengths: This is the only ink cartridge to use for your HP5550 printer!

Summary: 2004-07-19 17:49:39 HP cartridges are the only way to go if you have an HP printer! I own an HP5550 printer and will not use anything else. The price is just an added benefit. I haven't had any issues like those aftermarket cartridges can give you; like print quality and length of usable service.

Summary: The genuine article. Easy to change out.
FWIW, the Officejet 6110 gives early warning to change the cartridge. Even though the HP Inkjet Utility showed that the cartridge was totally empty, it's still printing perfectly after 10-12 pages and the new cartridge is sitting in the package waiting to installed.
I've read mixed reports about refilling HP cartridges. While I very much like the idea of using fewer resources, I need to know that the cartridge will work.

Strengths: HP quality is great. Price was excellent.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: The price for the ink cartridge was great. Retail stores have it for almost $10-$15 more. The quality of an original HP cartridge can be seen versus a generic brand depending on what you print. I've had both before and for text, you probably won't see a difference. For other printing, you could probably tell the difference. Mostly black cartridges though are for text anyhow. For the price though, I could not pass up an original over a generic cartridge. Free shipping and no tax as well. Thanks Omnipro.

Strengths: Good Product
Weaknesses: You have to find a good seller and stick with them.
Summary: I have been purchasing remanufactured cartridge for at least nine months and have had few problems. The one time I did have a problem, the cartridge was replaced without any questions. With the amount of cartidges I use, I have saved an enormous amount of money. I fully endorse usaing these cartridges.

Strengths: * Good and consistent print quality for the life duration of cartridge
* Not easily prone to drying-up or clogging-up with intermittent use
* Surprisingly long lasting for such a small cartrid
Weaknesses: * New HP cartridge runs about 10 to 15 dollars more than a remanufactured cartridge
* Not made in the USA
Summary: Paying a premium for a new cartridge is certainly debatable. However, purchasing a new HP cartridges for my printer has always produced consistent, and quality prints each time. That same print consistency has not always been the case with my run of remanufactured cartridges.
If you choose to go with a remanufactured cartridge, my advise would be to buy small at first, and see if the specific brand of remanufactured cartridge gives an acceptable level quality performance. Also it is important to check to see if the vendor/remanufacture will guarantee their cartridges if a problem should arise.
I would, though, strongly suggest staying away from the D.I.Y. refill kits on the market. I have almost always ended up getting more ink on me than into the cartridge with these refill kits!

Summary: I bought the 56 to replace the empty one for my HP psc 1210. It's been working totally fine. It's much cheaper to buy the cartridges online, otherwise, it just costs too much to replace the cartridges for the HP printers.

Strengths: Recommended by HP. Works well. No problems.
Weaknesses: More expensive than the generic knock-offs.
Summary: You cannot go wrong with the HP-branded ink cartridge in HP machines. For occasional home use in our HP 6110 all-in-one printer/fax/scanner, one of these cartridges lasted us a few months. The machine gives decent warning when the cartridge is about to run low.
On the other hand, the generic knock-off cartridges can cost less than half of the HP-branded cartridge. I cannot comment on the quality of the generics because I have not used them in this machine.

Strengths: I can get clear image. My print model is hp5550z. It works very well.
Weaknesses: I used for 30 days. There is no problem. The ink is more expensive than epson model.
Summary: I bought two refubulished inks. It is very nice.
I am using hp5550z. I like hp model.

 I will try to find a generic version to rate its q ... Strengths: Very smooth, good quality. Have not had any trouble as far as smearing, smudging, or running.
Weaknesses: The ink does not last very long, appears to be expensive. I have only had this cartridge three weeks and it is now empty.
