Strengths: Fast download from memory cards. Excellent picture quality.
Weaknesses: Must remove glass to change bezel (frame). Remote required to select mutiple files when downloading.
Summary: I've compared this Pandigital model with others from the same maker. Pan80-2 is the best. It has fast download even for large file size, and a calendar function. Kodak and HP were comparable but Pan80-2 is cheaper. I selected this 8" because it has the 4:3 aspect ratio. I don't like the wide screens that cut off the top and bottom of the picture. But don't loose the remote as some of the menu options cannot be selected with the buttons on the back.
