Strengths: It responds fast, the upload speed is around 11.7mb/s and download speed is around 8.2mb/s. There is a black jacket outside of the transparent shell to make it looks better.
Weaknesses: The color is a little boring. The cap is easy to slip off
Summary: There is a deal in staples. I just got it for 20. This is a good price for 8gb flash drive. There are still some cheaper ones. But they are all sold out very very quickly. Let me say something about this flashdrive. It responds fast when I plug it in the laptop. The upload speed is around 11.7mb/s and download speed is around 8.2mb/s. When I did the test, I also used laptop to do other stuffs. So the speed may not be the max value. But it is already good enough. BTW, my laptop is T43 and windows XP. The design of the flashdrive is ok. There is a black jacket outside the flashdrive. When take the jacket off, you can see what inside through the transparent blue shell. But I think the cap is not stable. It is easy to slip off. This flashdrive is not cool enough for the black color, but it can work well. That's enough. During 10 mins transferring, there is not obvious temperature change for this flashdrive. It is a good one.
