Strengths: I agree with everyone else. I particularly like the power and the 15" screen. Yes the MAC has a 17" notebook but the power and price of the COMPAQ outweigh the norm.
Weaknesses: The battery.......well, they are right about that....2.5 hrs???? it's crazy. I hardly use the battery anyway.
Summary: With the money I could of spent on the "Mac Powerbook", I bought the COMPAQ PRESARIO 1510us instead and put the rest of the money in my children's savings account.

Like the graphic designer before me I demand power. Remember, a MAC 1.5ghz is smaller then a P4 2.2 ghz.

Strengths: This is a very good notebook for a Graphic Designer believe it or not. It is powerful enough for the memory hog graphic programs I use all the time. I particularly like the POWER.
Weaknesses: I guess if you are using your battery all the time 2.5hrs just does not cut it, but 80% of notebook users do not use their battery anyway.
Summary: 2003-05-06 03:19:03 It is a powerful notebook. I am a graphic designer and for those who are saying I need to buy a POWERBOOK, well I did and it's called the COMPAQ PRESARIO 1510US. I needed something that would give me more bang for the buck and the other guys just did not deliver. Sorry just because other graphic designers are using MAC's that does not mean MAC's are better as a matter of fact, MAC's are slower then the P4. Believe me, I'm a designer. The bottom line is this, I find this is one of the best computers I have purchased. I was a MAC user and now I am all PC. Remember to research your products before purchasing.

Strengths: big screen,excellent graphics,processing speed and memory that get maximum potential from my C.A.D and F.E.A. software.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Has everything a CAD Consultant needs, hp(Horse Power). Great speed, Big screen, Excellent Graphics. On site FEA never worked so efficient.
