1 Star ReviewDoesn't work with either Nikon or Apple products
Strengths: Easy to install on XP, and might work with storage devices.
Weaknesses: This device will not work with Nikon scanners on either Windows of Mac OS systems, ever. Even though I found this product through the Macworld site, it is NOT supported on any Apple products.
Summary: Save yourself time and money by not expecting too much out of this hardware adapter. Adaptec Tech Support claims complete compliance with SCSI standards, but says that Nikon products such as the LS-2000 will never work because of their use of a non-standard software protocol. I thought that the world was done with hardware/software finger pointing, but not with this component level non-systems level product. It may work some SCSI disks, but why bother?
