Description: Kicker designed the KX Series mono amplifiers for one purpose - producing massive power to drive your subwoofers. These highly-efficient Class D machines come ready to rumble, with an army of features to help you conquer the land of bass. The Class D KX1200.1 generates 1200 watts RMS of power at 1 ohm, drawing less current and producing less heat than traditional amp designs. The built-in variable low-pass crossover (50-250 Hz, 12 dB per octave), KickBass boost (0-18 dB of boost at 40 Hz), and defeatable subsonic filter shape the character of your bass to fit your sub, its enclosure, and the acoustics of your vehicle. The remote gain controller lets you set the amp's output level from the dash, so you can match your lows to different types of music instantly. The amp features a removable metal shroud that conceals all connections. Once you've installed the amp, you can re-install the shroud or leave it off to save space.
