Quick burner support all the format, lightscribe! Ok looking! external drive can use for other computer. Weaknesses: Quiet heavy, not easy to carry, only good for home or office use, not for portable concerns Summary: This is a very good dvd burner, my 2nd one. I bought it again because my little son break out tray on drive. So I need to get other one and know that DVD drive is right one for me. That is why I chose this bulky but fast and quiet piece, very good one and relatively cheap, fits me excellently! 100% of People (5/5) found this review helpful. Weaknesses: None yet. Summary: I've had it for about 3 weeks. First thing I noticed was ease of installation; just plug it into power and a USB port and it goes. I first used to burn a DVD+, which my old burner could not handle, just to see if it would do it. No problem. I've since used it for CDs and DVD- and it works with no problem. I am using this burner to duplicate dvd's of my daughters ball team with 14 players. It is quick, convenient and efficient. No coasters with my first 50 disc!!! Weaknesses: I am not a big fan of Nero software. Although I have used the included software that is working fine, I prefer the Roxio software. Summary: 2008-05-04 15:52:22 I was using a 4X DVD machine to make my copies of the teams dvd's. It was taking over 20 minutes to make a copy. Now it is just over 10 minutes. I am very pleased with this product. I also purchased the 4 year protection plan, so I have big plans for this burner. Thanks LG! 67% of People (2/3) found this review helpful. Summary: I have used several DVD writers over the years, and this is probably the best. I'm using it with my Dell laptop and the included Nero software package. So far, it hasn't produced any "coasters" - every DVD has been completed flawlessly. Also, it's pretty quiet. The Lightscribe software (included) burns a label on the DVD - nice touch!
