Strengths: I WOULD RECOMEND THIS SUB OVER A FOSGATE OR MTX ANYDAY,THEY HIT HARD AND PUT OUT GUT POUNDING BASS!!!!!!!! Weaknesses: NONE I KNOW OF! Weaknesses: NONE Summary: BY FAR THE BEST SOUNDING AND MOST POWERFUL SPEAKERS YOU CAN GET FOR THE MONEY... I RECOMMEND THESE OVER ALL THE EXPENSIVE BRAND NAME SUBWOOFERS LIKE ROCKFORD FOSGATE AND KENWOOD BY FAR!! Strengths: Hits Haaard Weaknesses: very messed up as far as wiring, the guy who did it for me blew a set before he got it right Summary: I have the same setup as hydro2004 running 2 subs independently with the 960/2 running 560watts rms. I have the amps halfway and am afraid of blowing shtuff up. Summary: JUNK In my wifes car I run 4 of these subs with 2 rockford fosgate bd1000's and they are junk. I am giving her my old kicker L7's and getting me new ones. They do not sound better than expensive subs "you get what you pay for" Anyone who says these are better subs are just amateurs to the car audio world. They don't handle true power you pump the juice to them and they blow. They dont hit anywere close to what 4 subs should. They dont handle the lows and bottom out big time. Strengths: NONE Weaknesses: CAN'T STAND THE PRESSURE OF A LOWER WATT AMP Summary: I PUT 2 OF THESE SUBS TO A POWERACOUSTIK AMP OF ONLY 1600 WATTS, AND THE SUBS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE 1800 WATTS APIECE. I TURNED MY ALPINE IN-DASH CD PLAYER SUB LEVEL TO +15 AND SET THE BASS TO +7. THESE ARE NOT GOOD FOR THAT THUNDEROUS BASS YOU WANT. THEY BLEW THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I WAS DRIVING TO WORK. IF YOU WANT MODERATE BASS GET THEM. BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH BLOWN MANUFACTURED SPEAKERS THAT CAN'T EVEN HANDLE AN AMP MADE BY THE SAME MANUFACTURER, YOU HAVE TO TAKE CHANCES WITH A PRICIER PACKAGAE. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD MTX, ROCKFORD PUNCH, KICKER. I WOULD RECOMMEND AUDIOBAHN, KENWOOD, OR PIONEER OVER POWERACOUSTIK SUBS ANY DAY. 17% of People (1/6) found this review helpful. Strengths: hits hard at peak moments Weaknesses: see below if wiring options are good then they just plain suck. if my wiring is screwed well....my bad Summary: 2 power acoustik amps 980/2 i have each sub running to each amp bridged so 560 watts rms per sub. the subs are wired independantly for 4ohms for the amp on bridged mode. is there some better way i could do that to get more bass or is that the best unless i upgrade my amps? 0% of People (0/2) found this review helpful.
