Strengths: These subs are good for spl or sq. They have awesome bass along with good sound quality, weather you run them as spl or sq.
Weaknesses: None that I have found.
Summary: I have had these subs for 3 months now, and i have tryed them as spl and sq. They work great for either, they hit hard, and sound awesome. If you are also looking for a amp to power theses bad boys, go with either an alpine 1507, or an mtx 1501. The alpine amp has a built in fan, and has ther never shut off feature, it doesn't get hot. The mtx is also a good choice, however, the only advantge of the mtx compared to the alpine is that you can get mtx new. Look at getting 2 amps of either, because theses subs take and use power! 1000 watts peak each, and 300 rms.
