Strengths: EZ to learn, palm-size, great pictures, does everything I want.
Weaknesses: Had to buy rechargeable batts & charger separately ($30).
Summary: I love this camera so much I want to have its baby. Oh -- wait. It keeps having my babies. I used to be a 35mm snob, but I could never get a good photo of my grey cat because he's so uniform in color. With this camera I got a great photo, showing his contours with different highlights of grey, and in low light, and in ONE take! The weakness of my review is this is the only digital camera I've ever used, but if it can take a picture of my grey cat in low light and show highlights, then it must be a really good camera.

The fall of the house that George built. As Kodak ...
Strengths: Excellent camera. Good results and ease of operation. Very intuitive menu.
Weaknesses: TECH SUPPORT!! Below is my letter today to Kodak.
After waiting 3 months for Kodak to finally ship the CX4230 cameras I
finally was able to purchase one. The camera is fine and I am pleased.
Howeve
Summary: The fall of the house that George built. As Kodak tries to regain, or find, it's way they continue to shoot themselves in the foot. The stock will continue downward with this type of performance.

Strengths: Low cost and ease of use
Weaknesses: Battery life
Summary: This is a great first digital camera. It has a resolution that is good enough for most applications and is a breeze to learn. It does eat batteries and a Dock II is almost a requirement, so figure $60 to $80 above the price of the camera to make it fully operational.

Strengths: easy to use once you catch on to it
Weaknesses: It eats too many batteries too fast
Summary: I thought I was the only one that had a problem with the battery situation ,but there is one thing though the batteries that come with the camera must be expensive ones because they seem to last a long time when you first get it on the othwe had I have heard that that they do have very expensive out there ,other than that the waiting time between picures is the only other thing I don't like compared to a none digital camera

Strengths: Easy to operate. Picture quality good. Software is user friendly.
Weaknesses: Had a problem with the mechanical zoom motor-lense would not retract. Sent back to Kodak and they replaced motor @ no cost. Have not experienced the problem again.
Summary: For an entry level digital camera it is excellent. If you are a techno-guru, this camera is not for you. I have compared picture quality to other cameras with like specifications, but more money, and the Kodak was just as good or better.

Strengths: It's a great camera and very easy to use. I have had no problems with the camera and the pictures come out great. Biggest strength though is that it's so affordable.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I have used it sooo much in the little time I have owned it and I am extremely happy with it. I am possibly going to purchase the same for my mother for Christmas because she thought it was really neat.

Strengths: Easy to use
Weaknesses: Does not come with rechargable batteries
Summary: Love the camera, got it at Walmart. For $200 it is a great deal, and has a competitive zoom. I would reccomend purchasing more memory, but besides that, IT IS GREAT!
