Strengths: Great power in an outstanding and professional design. Weaknesses: My version has only a DVD-Rom, where the 1Ghz Combo now offers a DVD-burner... In hardware, you always buy too fast... Summary: I have had but pleasure with this great new Powerbook (I used the limegreen iBook before...). As this was my introduction to Mac OS X, I cannot compare speed to other versions, but I have no reason to complain about speed, even when multitasking... Weaknesses: Paint bubbles off the outter shell, touchpad button sticks Summary: The TiBook is a visually appealing laptop that has potential if it weren't for the fact that OS X is the slowest OS to run Internet applications, the paint rubs off making it very unattractive, and the bottom of the unit gets very hot if you are working on your lap. Strengths: everything about it-from the looks to performance Weaknesses: none whatsoever Summary: With the recent purchase of my powerbook , we are now a complete mac household which is connected with the airport wireless system. My wife has a new imac in the home office and my son has an emac in his room and I the new powerbook. I am very seriously considering changing my smaal business over to a complete mac network .
