Strengths: The product is everything thing I thought it would be. It's very quiet and works very fast and efficiently. I'm glad I bought the 14 cup size especially for big recipes. I enjoyed the dvd.
Weaknesses: None yet.
Summary: I would recommend this product. I'm glad I purchased it. I enjoyed the recipe book and dvd that came with it. I used it to make breads, meat loaf, and scalloped pototoes. All turned out great!!!!!

Strengths: More powerful, better control, greater capacity
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: I just replaced my 30 year old CFP model (plastic on steel blade cracked)with this model. It is a big step up and I am glad I stayed with Cuisinart brand. The feed tube is much better and I truly love the increased bowl capacity. Being able to pulse gives much better control over the finished product.

Strengths: great motor
Weaknesses: too big
Summary: The food processor was pretty decent. I only used it a few times so far, but I plan on making some pestos and things like that. It is pretty big, so I'm pretty happy about that.

3 Star ReviewQuick and quiet, but has its limitations
Strengths: This machine slices, grates, and chops like nobody's business. It works quickly, even on foods as hard as parmeggiano-reggiano.
Weaknesses: May have to cut food to a smaller size before feeding it into the machine, so no tomato or onion slices. Can waste some cheese when shredding. Liquid capacity limitation is pretty low.
Summary: I use this for recipes that involve a lot of slicing or grating. I somehow had the impression that the chute was large enough for, say, a medium tomato or onion, but it's not. It does an awesome job of chopping herbs. Finally, while the machine made quick work of my pesto recipe, the capacity limitations for liquids forced me to make smaller batches. Would recommend with reservations for purchase, noting limitations. A simple mandoline is a better alternative for a lot of slicing and a blender or mixer can do a lot of the mixing.

Strengths: Fast, easy and efficent
Weaknesses: Clean up can be a hassle if you are not preparing a large amount of food.
Summary: This is great machine that can handle a big job. Its blades are sharp and quickly slice, dice, kneed, and chop. If you are looking for a high capacity food processor, this is your best bet. Cusinart is one of the best brands in the market for food processors, next to an industrial robo coupe (which are awesome if you can get your hands on one!). I love the features of this product except for the safety features that I am not used to from my much older model. I feel that they get in the way at times, but are definately good for safety. You will enjoy this one! (Beautiful in stainless steel in my kitchen, as well!)

Strengths: very good
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought this for my mother-in-law to use to make meals for her mother who is 90 years old and can no longer wear dentures. It is amazing! "Grandmother" can now eat regular foods just like us. I've pureed everything from hotdogs, to vegetables, to meats, to french fries for her and she really enjoys the food! I've also used it to make homemade whipped cream, cucumber veggie chips (for my dehydrator), banana nut bread, salads, coleslaw, and cheese dip for the rest of us. It shreds a block of cheese in about 30 seconds. The first time I tried to use the machine, it did not work and only by looking at the instructions again, did I realize it was because I had the bowl on backwards. Once I put it on the correct way, it worked fine. I'm happy about the safety features because I had to get stitches a few years ago after cutting my fingers on a handheld blender because I was tired and not paying attention. I like knowing that the cuisinart will not start if I have assembled it incorrectly. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I haven't experienced a "wait time" to use the Cuisinart if I have assembled it incorrectly and have to reassemble it. There is also no worrying about lining anything up correctly. You just have to make sure you have the bowl on with the handle facing the push buttons because otherwise the push top cannot lock in. This is very easy and within a few uses you will immediately recognize which way to assemble the cuisinart. Like the other reviewers said, Keep it out on your kitchen counter and you will use it more often. Cleanup is pretty easy. I've washed it in the dishwasher with no problems. The 14 cup size is perfect for a family of 4 or more, and really even if you are only cooking for 2, this is still a great machine. I like cooking extra food so I have leftovers for later. Fast and Easy! I'm very happy I decided to spend the money. I highly recommend this product.

Strengths: Cool aesthetics. Great built quality & locking mechanism. DVD. Biggest size. Timesaver as it does everthing in seconds which otherwise would take 10-15 minutes at least. Dishwasher safe.
Weaknesses: None. The only negative is that once to adapt to it, you won't be able to cook without it.
Summary: 2006-10-10 13:46:00 It's a thing of beauty & beauty lies in it's muscle and speed. It won't work unless it's properly locked/engaged. Locking mechanism is very easy to do & you can listen it clicking in place when set. It comes with a DVD that explains all of its features. Follow the DVD instructions from a pro chef & you'll slice, grate, puree, chop etc like a pro.

I'm sure it'll replace a lot of tools in your kitchen & you'll start to cook more often in less time.

So, don't wait, buy one ASAP. It may be expensive as compared to the ones already out there, but in terms of durability & life, it's a better value for money. My time is important & this food processer totally respects that.

Strengths: Heavy base, it doesn't move around while doing the job. Design, Dishwasher safe
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is my first food processor. We are a family of 2 and was rather skeptical whether it could chop, grate small amounts of food successfully. Well I was pleasantly surprised! I like the big mouth food chute as you can easily fit a whole onion and other veges too. the blades are sharp and do their work in a jiffy. Also it looks good sitting on your counter. All in all an awesome machine.

Strengths: It is very efficient and the bowl is large. Easy for cleanup.
Weaknesses: Safety first is a drawback for regular users. you need to snap in the food pusher correctly switch it on.
Summary: Beautiful machine, works great, and QUIET, considering what it's doing. Sharp blades does things in a zip. the stainless steel finish makes it look great on my countertop along with the other electrics. I highly recommend this machine to anyone that loves to cook.
