Weaknesses: Tech-Support does not follow up and they do not do what they promise they are going to do for you. Summary: We tried their trial version of DiskeeperWorkstation. After several days we decided to purchase their download version knowing for fact that the real product functions differently from the trial version. This is when all hell broke loose the download version attempt to uninstall the trial version and we got an error 1723 (dll required) Product would not install.. We called Tech-Support and after 4 emails 3 phone calls they kept giving us the run around, promising to email a walk through on how to get rid of the 1723 error. We also learned that we were not alone with this problem, several other people are having it and they do not have the fix or do they know how to correct the error. Bottom line... ideopraxist Member Since: May 2003 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 7 Days	For those people who ran into the diskeeper error ... Strengths: Very professional defragmenter. Not like that garbage Microsoft provides. Weaknesses: The demo uninstall is broken (Diskeeper 7.0). Summary: For those people who ran into the diskeeper error 1723, I found a solution (no thanks to diskeeper support). 1. Remove all the diskeeper files you can find. 2. Run regedit. 3. Export a copy of regedit and save it. 4. Search for the phrase 'diskeeper'. For every instance of 'diskeeper', remove the entire directory (if it is a long number like {D5334432333546345} for anything related to execsoft or diskeeper. If it is used by other programs, like MMC, remove the individual keys (although not necessary). 5. Install Diskeeper 7.0 (at least build 428t). Good Luck everyone. MUCH better than the microsoft defrag and you can schduel it to run when ever you choose. Weaknesses: do not use on fat32. would like them to ad more features but it does what it says better than any other. Summary: use this program all the time all my clients LOVE it. be careful with it. it is a powerful program that is a tool backup data like they recommend before using advance features.
