Strengths: Graphics. Al Michaels doing the play by play.
Weaknesses: Confusing player development.
Summary: I've been playing Madden Football forever and each year, it's better and better (except for that brief 2000-2001 hiccup). To me, the strength of this game over the others (and the primary reason I play it) is for it's franchise mode. Here you can not only play the games, you can coach and be general manager. You can draft, sign, cut, and trade players. You can create plays for your playbook that will utilize the strengths of the players you have. And this year, you can finally dictate the types of players you're looking for, should you decide to delegate the duties of drafting or signing free agents to your electronic staff, by emphasizing the importance of position and character of playing style. The sole thing that still bugs me about this, and just about every other sports sim is player development. Unless you dedicate yourself to a player (say a draft pick, for example), development seems to fall short. Only a handful of players come out of the draft with an overall rating of +80 - as it should be. But say you draft a wide receiver and he has an overall rating of 74. On your roster, you may already have 2 other receivers higher than that. I don't know about the NFL, but I'm not putting this guy higher up on the depth chart than those two (even though the AI will), and by doing this, they rarely improve. In fact, some rookies regress! What's up with that EA?! Other than this, Madden NFL has always been the premier football sim, and this one does the franchise proud.

Strengths: this is the best sports game out there right now...this beats nfl2k3 anyday
Weaknesses: it got no weaknesses...as long as your good at video football games.
Summary: for all you haters out there who say your db's are dumb and their(cpu) db's are smart...have you ever thought of looking at the player's rating's? cause there aint that many good defensive backs and u gotta look at their attributes.....if he doesn't have a high awareness how do u think he's gonna know when the ball is coming...and for the guys who always get picked off.....don't throw it when the guys aren't open..qb's can't thread the needle through four defenders, like give the game a break. i play on all madden and it's simple. i'm even the worst team the seattle seahawks and i led them to 4 divisional title games and 2 super bowl rings. and yeah if you can't win games in pro...all madden isn't for you. and for the guy who says in pro mode he doesnt have a running game, that's why EA sports invented moves such as the juke, stiff arm, spin and hurdle for stupid players who just hit speed burst all the time. like honestly do u think by just running into guys your gonna break tackles, give your head a shake

Strengths: Gameplay, Franchise mode, and graphics
Weaknesses: TEams seem to be very hard to beat even in pro level..I miss the trade offers recieved in franchise mode
Summary: I completed my first season in the rookie mode and went undefeated..very easy level. Started my second season in franchise mode on pro level and already lost my first game. Pro level seems very hard compared to previous madden games cant imagine how tough it is on all madden level. I practically have no running game in pro mode as it becomes a lot harder to break tackles. And I see what the last person meant by having dumb DB's and the computer having awesome ones who always intercept. As it kinda sucks losing but hey it makes the game much more challanging and exciting as compared to blowing teams away as I did on rookie level. Very good game a must buy! Cant wait to start playing this online.

Strengths: Game Play and Depth Of Franchise Mode
Weaknesses: Career Stats not entirely accurate and Career stats not at all available for Free Agents
Summary: I have bought this game just about every year...And I am very happy with it once again. It actually seems a little easier than last years version. The Franchise mode is the absolute best feature.

2 Star ReviewYou cant hardly pass the ball, and the cpu(no matt ...
Strengths: Good Graphics, cool create-a-stuff.
Weaknesses: Gameplay is harder than S**T.
Summary: You cant hardly pass the ball, and the cpu(no matter what team) is the best team on the planet who dont drop passes at all. They have the worlds quickest DBs and you have the dumbest muthaf***ers in your secondary. EA may have added a bunch of stuff, but they sure forget one thing.. to make the game fun.
