Strengths: You can use the USB car adapter piece separtley to power your other devices, and throw the horrid FM transmitter in the trash.
Weaknesses: Does not work as advertised. Below satisfactory transmission.
Summary: The stereo goes in and out, loss of signal, interferance. Should I continue? Had it in for less than 30 minutes, hated it so much I went back to CDs. I actually figured it might be "bad", but not this bad! I bought it for temporary use with my MP3 Player until I had the time and money to purchase and install a BlitzSafe AUX in my car. This FM transmitter is a complete wast of money, avoid this one at all costs, and save yourself the trouble and get the BlitzSafe AUX if you can, or if you have an indash tape player, get a "Car Stereo Adapter", like the one from Rio. I don't have a tape player in my 2001 Honda Civic. But my friend bought a Car Stereo Adapter for his car, and it sounds pretty darn good.
