Strengths: Very small camcorder, packed with many extras
Weaknesses: The battery only last about 1 hr, however I ordered 2 more off ebay and they work great they last over 2 hours
Summary: 2003-07-17 06:52:14 This is one of the best camcorders I have purchased it is very small and is very easy to work, the features are very easy to work and you never get tired of holding it in your hand because it doesn't weigh that much. If this is one camcorder you are looking at I would say go for it. If you need more views of this camcorder I have searched all over the internet and found that amazon.com has about 10 different views and 2 of them are of the actual size.

Strengths: Lightweight, good for the price
Weaknesses: Video transfer to PC is not easy.
Summary: This is one of the best deals for this low price. I purchased it on a bid and the cam is excellent. Working as per my expectations but when I try to transfer data from my mini-DV, that is where I feel like having something better. Data transfer from memory is pretty good and fast.

Strengths: VERY Compact, Lightweight, and Very Easy to Use

Summary: This is my first camcorder, and I'm LOVING it! This is an extremely small and portable MiniDV camcorder, that you can bring around anywhere, without your arm straining.

The controls are VERY easy to use. The video quality is good, sound is good (Although the mic is on the top), and it has many good and useful features.

The "Night Alive" feature isn't that great, but I wasn't expecting it to be great.

The "Snapshot" mode isn't that great either. You can take some decent "Email/Web" photos, but nothing worthy of printing out. It also comes with an 8MB memory card, which isn't a lot, but it's better than nothing.

If you are looking for something small, lightweight, that you can bring around anywhere, with some good video quality, and good features...THIS IS THE MINIDV FOR YOU!
