Strengths: Great sound quality, layout of buttons are intuitive, love the MP3 playback, detachable face plate

Weaknesses: LCD screen is not as visible on sunny days, pausing play required more than 2 clicks, no case for detachable face plate

Summary: The Pioneer CD Player with MP3 supports is a great player. When loading an MP3 CD, it takes only a few seconds before it starts playing.

It also supports ID3 tags, which is a great extra!

You have to go through a menu to pause. But the remote has a pause button with one push pause.

The remote is a great extra.

The detachable face plate is great but there is no case for the plate. It can get damaged. It is hard to put the detachable face plate back on.

Overall, it's a great CD player with MP3/WMA Support (although I care less for WMA support). I'm happy with purchase.

highly recomended

Strengths: Don't need to flip the face down to insert a cd. Pioneer has the best antennae reception. Can adjust every aspect of the highs, mids and lows.

Weaknesses: none

Summary: 2005-07-06 17:03:12 The unit was very easy to install. I like the fact that you don't have to flip the face down to load a cd. The unit is plenty powerful and has a crisp sound. I would definitely recomend this unit. Works very well with a subwoofer.

Pioneer CD In Dash Player DEH-P3700MP

Strengths: This deck has ample power for "normal" listening pleasure, has RCA outs for adding an amp if more needed.Very clear and simple to understand display with well lite "night glow" buttons.Tight Machine.

Weaknesses: None, for about a hundred dollars it cannot be beat and with Pioneer's Supertuner IIID chip you will not be dissatisfied.

Summary: Let's face it you can spend more on a deck. it's a free country but for the average person who wants a great, clear sound and able to play a CD filled with 170 MP3 songs this could be the deck for you. I have been buying Pioneer decks for twenty years and they have always been solid performers. This one is no exception, nice display, power and SAT ready what more does one need? Oh ya a built in DVD player right? HA!

Strengths: Ease of installation

Weaknesses: No storage bag for faceplate

Summary: Looks very good in my dash. Reception was very good and controls were easy to learn and understand. I would highly recommend this receiver to anyone on a tight budget since the sound quality and claretity were up there with the more expensive models

Excellent Head Unit

Strengths: Produces great sound

Weaknesses: None yet

Summary: I was looking for a decent head unit without paying too much money and the Pioneer stuck out the most in this price range. It has made my car's stock speakers sound TONS better - I know I'll have to replace them soon. :-)

I highly recommend this head unit for it's cost/value ratio.

Strengths: Easy to set up and use. Reasonably uncluttered display. Decent features for the price.

Weaknesses: None noted as long as you don't push the volume too much.

Summary: I installed this unit in my 1985 Nissan 300zx as a replacement of the old factory cassette deck. I wanted a reasonably priced cd/mp3 receiver that would sound good and not be too loaded with confusing features (I'd like my wife to be able to use the receiver and not have to memorize a users manual). The unit went in easier than I expected and sounded better than expected for the money. Is it as good sounding as the 250 watt sub woofer Bose system in our Murano? No. But it is perfectly adequate for the 300zx and the cost was minimal. I'd recommend this system to anyone. Very pleased overall.

Great Receiver

Strengths: Good all around

Weaknesses: needs a contrast setting for the display, but even so, still very good

Summary: After buying the pioneer DEH-P3700MP In Dash CD/MP3/WWA Player, my car sounds great. It was very easy to install makiing it possible for anyone to do it. Doesnt skip when going over bumps. Awesome!

Strengths: Resources and sound efects.

Weaknesses: Details for Funcional buttons.

Summary: 2005-09-22 10:34:42 The product is very good for sound power. But not good for functional details, because de volume button is not correctly centered and so don't turn as a good circle. There is no protection box for the front face!
