Strengths: ATI Radeon 9600 chipset and display. Wireless LAN 54g is great! Speed is okay. Lots of ports!
Weaknesses: Heavy at 7.5 pounds. Comes with Microsoft Works instead of MS Office. Battery life.
Summary: Have used as a desktop replacement for my home office computer for 5 months and it has been reliable. I upgraded to MS Office Pro after one month to get more compatibility with other files without having to remember to save in different formats. The Radeon chipset and widescreen display work well together with minimal ghosting/degradation during video playback and games. The 54g Wireless LAN has worked great, even when using it in my basement with my router all the way across the house and on the second floor (two floors up), it usually connects at 54 speed. It has also been very easy to connect to various wireless internet setups in different hotels and company offices. At 7.5 pounds, just for the laptop itself, carting a case, notebook, and power cords etc. gets tiresome. Also, the battery life is usually as promised at over 2 hours but it would be nice to have 4 to 5 hours of battery life for trips.
