Strengths: Sound quality on both ends; securely clips to ear; rugged construction; noise canceling technology actually reduces background sound; very easy to use; comes with a great protective case
Weaknesses: Ear clip can be uncomfortable but I am getting used to it; must be charged in its case which is more bulky than directly attaching a wire
Summary: I have a Motorola Razr phone and so I thought that a Motorola Bluetooth headset would perform the best with my phone... wrong. I returned first one and then another HS820 model because of intermittent crackling and poor voice quality reported by those I spoke with on the phone. I then tried the HS850, the latest and greatest, and the results were similar. This one also had a lower maximum earpiece volume than the HS820s. These worked OK in a quiet room, but not in any other space. Even just walking outside reduced the sound quality for the person on the other end of my call.

Frankly, I don't see how all of these compact headsets, with the mouthpiece near the ear and up against the cheek, can possibly perform all that well.

After reading mostly very positive reviews on several sites for the Logitech Mobile Pro, I decided to give it a shot... I'm very glad I did. What a difference! This is not the smallest headset, but it is the most sensible. It has an adjustable boom that places the mike much closer to the mouth. It also claims noise canceling technology and in my experience it actually works... not perfect, but pretty darn well.

One of the things that reveals the sound quality is that, so far, when I use the voice recognition dialing feature of the Razr, it has never failed to recognize the name I speak into it. With the three Motorola units I returned, I often needed to repeat the name several times before it would dial. Clearly, the microphone works much better. It may be the position closer to the mouth, or simply a better pickup, or both... but it works very well.

People on the other end of my calls have been very pleased with the sound quality, even in my car which is a noisy Honda CR-V. They can hear some background sound, but the important thing is that they can easily understand what I'm saying and the background is not overwhelming.

The earpiece volume is the loudest of all the units I tried, although I do need to press it to my ear when in a noisy outdoor space... it's to be expected.

The ear clip is unusual and not as comfortable as others, but it's not bad and it holds very well. The more I use it the less it bothers me. One very nice thing about the ear mount is that I can clip the unit to my belt when not in use.

I can't stress enough how far superior the sound of this headset is to the others I tried. I would recommend it to anybody.

Strengths: Very confortable. Stays put regardless of how much you try to shake it off :)
Weaknesses: At this point there is no car charger adapter. Logitech says there is one coming out soon.
Summary: 2005-08-16 10:01:55 I am very happy with this headset. It has work flawlesly with both my desktop and laptop as well as my PocketPC and Motorola V710 phone.

The main reason I bought it was to use with the PocketPC and Skype and that has been the easiest setup.

I'm not sure the fact that the pairing code is set to a default is a security risk since you would always have possesion of the headset and you would have to initiate pairing, but that was my only concern

Strengths: Very clear and loud with treo 650 (especially compared to the Palm treo headset), quick pairing, outstanding for those on the other end of the line.
Weaknesses: Fit on ear a little strange, but you get used to it.
Summary: Compared to other bluetooth headsets I've used with the treo 650, this is by far the best.

In second place I'd put the palm treo headset but that is only single duplex and tends to

crackle a bit. Plus listeners say I sound like I'm on a speakerphone. With this headset listeners claim that it sounds like I'm on a landline. Highly recommend!

Strengths: * Very light on the ear * Easily adjustable * Great sound and great controls
Weaknesses: * Not really a weekness, but reconnection takes a little long time, if the other part hangs up and if I haven't used the disconnect button * Seems like the voice recognition works less than perfect
Summary: I have owned 3 bluetooth headsets before this, and this is by far the best. I don't even know I have it on my ears and that in itself justifies the price for this headset. Also what I like about it is that it is not too geeky like some other mmodels in the market.

Strengths: Great sound quality both incoming through the ear peice and out going through the microphone. It comes with fuzzy caps for the microphone to reduce wind crackling sound when speaking.
Weaknesses: A little uncomfortable but worth it.
Summary: It is the best headset I have used the sound is so loud and clear that I had to actually lower the volume. I would definetely recommend to buy and thanks to the other reviews on this product helped me buy a good headset.

Strengths: Quick to charge. Easy to wear
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Cream of the crop! Swivel boom, light, great unit. I am very pleased with the performance this has. I recommend this to all who need a hands free option for a medium price range.

Strengths: Very clear, very light weight
Weaknesses: boom could get knocked off easy
Summary: Sounds good, paired very quickly with my Moto V551. This is the only one I have ever had though, so I can't compare it to anything. The price was good. I got it for $65 and it retails for about $100.
