Strengths: Small, durable, includes several features and is reasonably priced
Weaknesses: My first MP3 player and I really needed a more comprehensive manual. I called their support hotline and they directred me to website which was more informative.
Summary: I would definitely purchase this item again, It included all of the features i wanted, and it was reasonably priced. It was much smaller than i had thought it wold be, but that turned out to be a good thing. I had trouble gttihng started, due to lack of a step by step uide. The paper an computer manuals provided were very small and vague. It seems as though they expect you to call, so that thy can direct you to their website. In all i have been enjoying this productr very much.

Strengths: compact light-weight versatile good battery life quality sound various options (equalizer, am/fm radio, etc) super-easy to operate line-in audio
Weaknesses: memory size usb port is a cord (have to take cord around with you) pricey
Summary: This is a really great mp3 player. It is probably the best of these kinds, it's cheaper than other similar mp3 players. It is a lot better features as well than other mp3 players. It's light and compact - it's a great all-around buy if you're going to exercise with it. You don't have to worry about it skipping. It is very easy to access the many. If you're looking into flash memory mp3 market, this is the one to buy, you can't go wrong!!!

Strengths: Great price, Great Capacity (1 GB), Good battery life
Weaknesses: Only 1 level of folders
Summary: 2005-08-12 11:46:26 High Points:

1. Great value for the money. (Large capacity for the price compared to some other hyped brands.)

2. Can purchase up to a 1 GB size

3. Battery life is great on this player. (Uses a AAA battery and I even use a rechargeable one.)

4. Great sound from this device.

Low Points:

1. Slight buzz with the blacklight turned on.

2. Player can only have one level of folders (I think). (Be sure to update your firmware!)

Conclusion:

For the price I paid (8/1/2005 $99 with $20 rebate offer), I don't think there is a better value out there. Get some better headphones and it will sound great. I forgot to mention, it has a FM radio, and has voice recording. One of the most outstanding features I neglected to mention is the ability to directly hook up to another device (such as a CD player) and then import the files.

I certainly wouldn't trade this one for a more expensive flash drive player. Also works as an extra device using Windows XP. No software needed so ease of transfer. Be sure to organize your sounds/files/folders on your computer and then drag and drop.

If you want a great player to use for jogging, walking, or the gym (not a hard drive based one in other words), then this is it. It will hold over 200 MPs and more I think with WMA, so it is not for the person who wants a player to store a large music library. Buy it and note: www.zipzoomfly.com had the best price at the time with $20 rebate, and 2 day FedEx delivery. Hope this info helps!

Strengths: Direct inline recording w/o PC, Record from FM radio, Flash memory = no skipping, Belt clip & armband included, 32 Radio Presets, Portable storage
Weaknesses: Creative MediaSource PC Software, Manual
Summary: 2005-06-04 05:24:29 This is a great little player. Having the ability to record directly from a CD player using the CD players headphone jack is a plus. Recording direct from the internal FM radio is a nice feature as well. You can record your favorite radio station and listen to it later. Great for use at the health club, because there is no worry of skipping with flash memory and the armband or belt clip allow you to be mobile. Also like the fact that you can use it as a portable storage device. Makes it nice if you want to copy a file to take with you (provided you have enough memory to fit it).

The PC software could be improved. For songs recorded from the radio, it does not allow you to add the song title to the file that is on the player. If you create a playlist and make modifications (like adding a title), it only changes it in your playlist on the PC. Although you can use Windows Explorer, select the drive for your USB port and add the title, file name or create new folders. It would be nice if you could do this from the Creative MediaSource software. The manual is lacking. It only explains player, so you have to use help screens for the PC software.

The earbuds that come with this unit sound good, but they feel a bit large in your ears. I tried using noise canceling headphones, as well as noise canceling earbuds, but the sound seemed very low.

Strengths: Battery life and accessories.
Weaknesses: None right now.
Summary: I just got the MuVo Micro NV200 for Christmas and its been a blast. With-in 20 minutes of opening the player, I was listening to over 200 songs. All you have to do is plug the player into your computer and drag and drop your music. I had a mp3/cd player for over three years now and it still works but the battery life is only like two hours. I've been listening to the NV200 for almost 2 hours now is still near full! I would recommend getting the 1GB version cause the player is so dirt cheap. $100 and a $10 rebate.

Strengths: 3 in 1, (FM Radio, MP3, Microphone), compact, good size
Weaknesses: Menu is a little bit weak
Summary: It is a very nice little MP3 player. I have a 40GB Creative Zen Xtra and it was bulky. This was bought for wife as a gift and she loves it. :-) I got it for 105-20rebate = 85 so this is a great value compared with ipod. :)
