Strengths: Price and quality of picture
Weaknesses: features
Summary: After weeks of research, I finally decided on the BenQ 5120 because of price and preformance. Currently I am using this projector mounted on the ceiling projecting onto my 92" screen. Quality is that of a HDTV, except you can't buy an HDTV that size. The one thing you have to take into consideration is that seating should be at least 1.5 times the projected size. Any closer and you will see pixelation. Also you have to be able to control the lighting in the room. Dark movies are hard to see with too much light in the room.
The one thing this projector is missing is a lens shifter. In order to get the best picture you have to be centered with your screen. Currently I am not centered, so there is a slight shrinkage of the picture from left to right. The lamp is rated at 2000 hours at normal and 3000 hours at economic mode.
