Strengths: Wireless connection with good OEM product support. Controls work as advertised.
Weaknesses: Bluetooth communications range limited in some environments. Headband may be subject to breakage if mishandled. May need to download an updated driver for the Microsoft WMP 10.
Summary: Enables iPAQ use as a wireless audio player with high-quality stereo sound. With these headphones, listen to MP3s, videos and any audio files up to 30' away. Store the headphones in the included carrying bag. The behind-the-head design of the headband ensures a snug fit, but be careful because they feel a little flimsy. Easy access the controls for power, volume, play/pause and track forward/back. An included AC adapter charges the headphone batteries.

2 Star ReviewPlan to replace often
Strengths: Good sound and easy to use. The blinking blue light makes you look like a cyborg at the gym, which is cool.
Weaknesses: poor construction
Summary: I'm on my fourth pair in about three years. Two were replaced at the expense of HP after complaining and begging. The plastic headband will eventually crack, no matter how well you treat them. I'm researching other options now, having given up on HP changing the faulty design.

3 Star ReviewA mixed bag...
Strengths: Wireless control and decent sound on Ipaq 4700 (including patch issued by HP Mar 28 allowing for use of the navigation buttons)
Weaknesses: Sketchy sound on Ipaq 2215 and poor range. Flimsy, very breakable headband...yes, the poor reviews for headband snapping are completely true.
Summary: OK. First off, the headband is very flimsy due to the hefty weight of the phones. After a few hours of use, my ears were hurting from the sheer weight of them. I've used these with both the 2215 and 4700 series. On March 28, 2006, HP finally released a patch allowing the navigation (Pause/Play, Forward and Reverse) to work properly on the 4700. The navigation on the 2215 worked fine, but with piss poor reception, crackling sound and any sudden movements resulted in more static.

I'm handling my pair with kid gloves regarding the headband issue. The reception on my 4700 is excellent.

And the patch fixing the navigation button issue makes it a fair value.

I'd probably buy another pair if I broke these, unless I can get my hands on a lightweight pair of bluetooth earbuds with decent sound and navigation...
