Strengths: Sound quality is excellent, Price is better than excellent
Weaknesses: Doesn't come with a DVD player(which is actually one of the reasons why I liked it)
Summary: I bought this for my upstairs TV room. Downstairs, I currently have a Sony 945 receiver and a sony DVD player. My speakers consist of 2 JBL towers, 2 JBL rears(N24), JBL S-center speaker and a Cerwin-Vega 250 Watt subwoofer. I appreciate great sounding systems. When I started looking for my upstairs room, I was looking for what most people are looking for(a whole lot of sound at a great price). Also, I already had a 2nd DVD player so I didn't want to get a system that came with another one. I couldn't believe the sound coming from this system when I was in Best Buy. I had been looking for a few weeks and wasn't really satisfied with what I was finding. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this is a great setup because when I went to buy another one for my parents, I found that it was sold out everywhere. I found the 2nd one in-stock online at Etronics.com for $289.
