Strengths: V.92 - may be usefull in the future (when provider will support this protocol)
Weaknesses: Sometimes buzzes during dialing for couple of seconds. Can not choose right speed for the stable connection.
Summary: I had bitter experience with the combination of the AOL and this modem. I am tired of the necessity to reconnect up to 5 times to get stable connection. And sometimes computer buzzes for ~5 seconds after the modem initialization. I have nForce chipset and W2k.

Strengths: When a V.92 supported line is supported, connnects faster. Faster download speeds though not noticeable enough
Weaknesses: Basically you get what you pay for. Zoom's other modems are great, this doesn't have the K-Flex technology or whatever Zoom has on other PCI modems. No Linux detection with this.
Summary: No Linux detection automatically. V.92 isn't that great, V.90 will do. The call waiting isn't that great because it pauses it and isn't all magic like it says it is. Finally, on Zoom's site some include K-Flex or something like that technology. I have an ISA model #2919 and it says it includes that. Well it certainly makes a difference must be. On IE browser, this modem works and starts to load stuff immediately, on this 3025 modem, IE and such seems to take longer. It doesn't disconnect very often like some modems I've used, but the more expensive Zoom modems that have K-Flex technology I think makes it noticeably better and faster.
